Rochford Hundred Golf Club is home to The Vandenberg Golf Academy, where we can deliver all your golfing requirements under one roof. Michael Vandenberg the Head Professional has developed a strong knowledge of every aspect of the game over the years which he applies to meet his customers individual needs.
As a golf coach Michael Vandenberg is always looking to improve his knowledge to help his students improve their game. In January 2016 he visited Orlando, Florida to start the process to become a TPI Certified Golf Instructor. Since then he has furthered his education by visiting the TPI headquarters in Oceanside California and is now a certified Golf Level Three instructor.

TRACKMAN 4
The TrackMan numbers are the brain behind it all. All major stakeholders of the game, without exception, use and trust TrackMan numbers for two main reasons: precision and reliability.
Trackman is a powerful tool which quickly helps us understand why and how, with the use of data, certain shots are happening. With TrackMan, we can quickly become an insider of the most revolutionary training tool in the industry.
V1 VIDEO ANALYSIS
V1 Golf system is the most powerful video analysis and golf teaching software on the market for live video capture, swing analysis, lesson creation and delivery.
This system when linked in with the TrackMan data allows me to show you exactly what is happening when you hit the ball and more importantly what we need to do to help you improve.
K-VEST 7
The K-VEST is another powerful piece of teaching equipment which allows Michael as a coach to discover exactly how your body is moving during the golf swing.
This 3D motion capture devise breaks down the pattern of your body movements and allows Michael to use his coaching knowledge to work out a plan to help you improve.
In the training mode we can work on the improvements we are aiming to make and gain instant feedback if these movements are being achieved.

THE FITTING PROCESS
It is important to understand that not everyone is the same and each individual will have their own specific requirements from the club or clubs they are purchasing. At Rochford Hundred we will run you through the whole fitting process to ensure you get the best equipment to suit your game, this will hopefully help you enjoy playing the game more and lower your scores.

TPI LEVEL 3 GOLF INSTRUCTOR
WHAT DOES IT MEAN AND HOW CAN IT BENEFIT YOU?
Since the late 1990s, the game of golf has seen a seismic shift in how players at the highest level prepare and maintain their bodies for competition. Players are more powerful, more athletic and better equipped at an earlier age to perform at the highest levels while older players are extending their careers at incredibly high performance levels.
The TPI Golf Certification gives Michael as a golf coach a better understanding of how his students body's strengths and weaknesses affect their golf swing. TPI Certified Golf Experts can quickly identify any physical restrictions (using a body screening process) that may be limiting a player’s swing, and simple techniques to improve these limitations..
This form of assessing a golfer is for all standards and will help every player understand why their particular body biomechanices produce certain movements which have a direct influence on a golfers ability to swing the club.
A body screening consists of 16 tests all of which are designed to help Michael gain an understanding of how your body moves and what links it has to your golf swing. Once any underlining issues have been identified a plan of action can be discussed and the improvement chain can start
